Local Schools Celebrate Darwin Day

For Downe and Cudham Primary schools, Darwin Day has become an annual event where they get together and learn about the work of their local resident. The schools joined together this year and held workshops based on Darwin's Tree of Life with the help of students from Newstead Wood School.
Pupils participated in falconry displays, pond surveys, learnt about local endangered mammals and dissected carniverous plants.
