Biodiversity Bingo in Darwin's Meadows

Local Cub Scout Packs from Beckenham District groups, in the London Borough of Bromley, joined students from The University of Greenwich to celebrate The International Day of Biodiversity. They had the opportunity to carry out wildlife surveying in the Great Pucklands Meadow at The Home of Charles Darwin, Down House, just as Darwin did for the first time in 1855. They investigated natural life around Darwin's grounds and learnt about the importance of these species by taking part in Biodiversity Bingo! competing in teams to find the most species.
